At Ross Care, we put mobility and accessibility first
Operating from our three retail outlets in Ellesmere Port, Leeds and Sunderland, we offer a wide range of products and services to make your daily life much easier. We pride ourselves on high-quality standards, as shown through our excellent and dedicated support services. We have extensive experience in mobility and we work closely with industry specialists to give you the best advice.
Providing products for better accessibility
We’re able to provide equipment aiding mobility and independence to the general public and private healthcare establishments. Our products can make things easier for people living with disabilities day-to-day, or can be loaned to anyone going through a long- or short-term medical recovery. We primarily operate in three main sectors: Community Equipment Services, Private Market Rehabilitation and the NHS.
From milk floats to mobility
Originally formed in Southport in 1949, Ross Care began life as Ross Auto Engineering Ltd. The company manufactured diesel- and electric-powered milk floats and industrial vehicles. From there, we developed our electrical and mechanical engineering skills, before moving into the world of accessibility and mobility. Ross Care quickly established itself in NHS Wheelchair Repair and we have become one of the most respected companies in our field today.
We’re proud to be an NHS-approved contractor for distribution and repair.
As a contractor for NHS Wheelchair Services, we can provide and service a range of equipment to meet the needs of any user. We currently supply and service over 80,000 users across wheelchair and community equipment contracts. Continual analysis helps us to keep up with changing customer needs, and we provide maintenance for any failing equipment.
